General Dental Practitioner [review from previous edition]

"This is a book that no dental student should be without. Starting from basic principles, it gives concise and comprehensive descriptions of all the commonly used preventive, restorative and prosthetic materials."

Book Description

Dental Materials: Properties and Manipulation is a comprehensive text focusing on the manipulation of dental materials most commonly used by auxiliaries in the dental office. Dental auxiliaries in some states can legally manipulate and place a number of dental materials as their duties have been extended. Therefore, a solid understanding of material manipulation and properties is vital. Auxiliaries must also be familiar with dental laboratory materials and be able to discuss them with patients. Dental Materials: Properties and Manipulation will allow the student to become familiar with all areas of dental materials, while maximizing his or her exposure to those materials.
